HAYLEY RUSSELL ~ DIRECTOR

With over 15 years in the dance and entertainment industry, Hayley has spent her career immersed in movement. She coached professional dancers and performers, worked in casting and live entertainment for major companies, and developed an intimate understanding of how the body moves, adapts, and sometimes breaks down under demand.

Like many dancers, Hayley discovered Pilates as a lifeline for her own body, a way to move that felt restorative rather than depleting, and over the past decade, Pilates has become her focus. The majority of her work has been in private sessions, where she specializes in longevity and mobility, and where she's learned that real progress happens when people feel genuinely comfortable.

Hayley's approach is grounded in real-world experience. She's worked with complex injuries, chronic conditions, and bodies that have been told they can't do certain things anymore. Her philosophy is simple: just move. Something is always better than nothing, and she works with what's possible rather than what's perfect.

MADDY GRAHAM ~ SENIOR INSTRUCTOR

As a former professional ballet dancer, Maddy spent 12 years dancing on stages across Europe, America, and Asia-Pacific. Her career in ballet instilled in her a deep understanding of movement, discipline and the importance of body awareness. Along the way, she turned to Pilates - not only to enhance her performance, but also as a vital tool in recovering from significant injuries, including stress fractures and knee surgery.

Pilates has been a constant throughout her life, supporting both her dance career and overall wellbeing. After retiring from the stage, she transitioned naturally into teaching, beginning in Europe where she started offering private and group sessions in mat, reformer, and barre before returning home to Australia.

With a foundation in classical Pilates, her teaching is rooted in precision and alignment, while also incorporating functional movement that supports clients in their everyday lives. Her goal is to help people move better, feel stronger, and develop a deeper connection to their bodies whether they’re athletes, beginners, or somewhere in between.

TESTIMONIALS

“I have been doing 1:1 Pilates with Hayley for the last 4.5yrs and have gone from barely being able to pick up my young children and having terrible posture from sitting in a chair all day for work, to having a super strong core and perfect stance. I even have people ask me if I’ve grown recently and I’m 48yrs old. There’s no sugar coating it, you have to put in the hard yards to get the results. If you have a bad back like me, go see Hayley and you will definitely see the results. I have no back pain anymore.”

~ Angus C

“Even though I’m frequently resistant, reluctant and recalcitrant, Hayley has successfully and kindly cajoled me into being stronger and more flexible, with Achilles Tendinitis that has recovered! She is an entertainer, a saint and a magician.”
